What can QR code stickers be used for?

QR code stickers are often used to direct your customer or visitor to a website or an app. With the QR code, your guest does not have to type in a link to a website, but can simply scan the QR code with the camera on a smartphone. This may be restaurants or cafés that instead of having a physical menu give customers the option to read an updated menu online and perhaps order their food via their website. A QR code can also be useful if you have a lot of information your customers need to access but is not relevant or possible to print on a flyer or brochure. Maybe the information is frequently updated or maybe it is too text-heavy for all customers to want to read. Many also use QR codes to direct their stakeholders to the website without the customer having to do anything else than scan the QR code with their phone. This makes it easy to share long URLs or illogical URLs with letters and numbers. You can also use the QR code to direct customers to a video guide.

How to get the most out of your QR code stickers

To optimise the use of QR code stickers, consider the following:

  • Clear positioning: Place the stickers visibly and accessibly to the target audience.
  • Instructions: Add short instructions or an incentive to motivate people to scan the QR code.
  • Target audience-oriented content: Customise QR code content to your target audience to increase engagement.
  • Analyse: Monitor and analyse the results by using analytics tools to evaluate the effectiveness of your QR code campaign.
  • Update: Update QR codes as needed to ensure that they always link to current and relevant information.

By implementing these steps, you can maximise the value of QR code stickers and create a more interactive and informative experience for your users.
